Computational Geometry

The Computational Geometry Week (CG Week) is the premier international forum for advances in Computational Geometry and its applications. CG Week combines a number of events, most notably the International Symposium on Computational Geometry (SoCG), the associated CG Media Exposition (CG:ME), the Young Researchers Forum (CG:YRF), the CG Challenge (CG:SHOP), and various workshops.

(Over the years, associated events were organized together with SoCG, such as workshops and the media track. Since 2012, these events are formally referred to as CG Week, while earlier years used the name SoCG.)

Steering Committee

The Steering Committee (SC) coordinates CG Week and acts as its general chair. Specifically, the SC appoints the PC chairs of the events, approves PC membership, and coordinates with local organizers. The SC also conducts the business meeting at CG Week.

The CG Week SC is a committee of the CG Society and elected by the members of the Society. Since 2016, the six members of the SC are elected for a term of four years. Members cannot serve for two consecutive terms. Terms are staggered: every two years, three SC members are replaced. The current SC’s term is 2024–2026.
