The Computational Geometry: Young Researchers Forum (CG:YRF) is aimed at current and recent students. The active involvement of students and recent graduates in research, discussions, and social events at a top-level event such as CG Week can be educating, motivating, and a networking opportunity. To facilitate this, CG:YRF was added as an event of CG Week in 2012. It presents early-career researchers an opportunity to present their work (in progress as well as finished results) to the CG community in a friendly, open setting. Presentations are given in the form of talks. A screening ensures appropriate quality control, but there is no formal review process.
