Computer Science Faculty Positions
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at North Carolina
Central University invites applications for tenure track Assistant
Professor positions beginning in the 2005- 2006 academic year. A Ph.D.
in computer science is required but candidates with a doctorate in a
related field and a Master's degree in CS will be considered. The
successful candidate must have a commitment to teaching and a desire to
participate in scholarship, student academic and thesis advising,
curriculum development, departmental and university committees. Teaching
schedule will include evening assignments. Candidates are sought in all
areas of Computer Science. Particular areas of interest include
artificial intelligence, vision and robotics, computational biology,
software engineering, graphics, multimedia and networking.

Please submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, statement of teaching
philosophy, and the names/addresses and e-mail addresses (if available)
