Assistant position at FU Berlin

[Guenter Rote]

At the Free University of Berlin, a position of

      Assistant Professor (Wiss. Assistent/in C1)

is available at the department of Computer Science,
starting October 1, 1999, for a duration of at most six years.

Area:    design and analysis of efficient algorithms,
         especially in computational geometry.
     
Formal requirement:
Ph.D. in computer science or mathematics

The applicant should have research experience in the field
of algorithms, combinatorial or computational geometry,
discrete mathematics, or optimization.

The position involves both research and teaching at an advanced
level. A knowledge of German is not mandatory.
It is possible to work towards a "Habilitation".
