which should be understood in the spectrum from theoretical
to experimental and application-oriented investigations: 
Cryptography, combinatorial algorithms and data structures,
discrete and computational geometry, optimization, algorithmic
number theory. Advisors: J. Bloemer, R. Cramer, B. Gaertner, 
U. Maurer, J. Nievergelt, J. Richter-Gebert, T. Roos, 
P. Widmayer und E. Welzl. Applications with a short letter
of reference and some ideas about the Ph.D. topic should be
