Dear  Colleagues,
it is our great pleasure to inform you  that the ICCVG Proceedings
will be published by Kluwer (http://www.wkap.nl/) in the book series
COMPUTATIONAL IMAGING AND VISION,  (http://www.wkap.nl/prod/s/CIVI).

For the paper submission (6 pages), you can use the templates,
which were provided on the Conference website http://atena.polsl.pl/iccvg/,
but it is advisable to use the Kluwer  style available at
http://www.wkap.nl/subjects/single_column_proceedings_vol,
which will be needed for the final submissions.

Please find attached the modified "Call for Papers".

Dear Colleagues,
you are cordially invited to participate in the International Conference
on Computer Vision and Graphics, (ICCVG) to be
held in Warsaw on 22-24 September 2004. The aim of this challenging event
is to facilitate an international forum for technical presentations and
discussions on latest advances in Computer Vision and Graphics.


Prospective authors are invited to submit original contributions on the
topics including, but not limited, to:

* Modelling of human visual perception
* Computational geometry
* Geometrical models of objects and scenes
* Illumination and reflection models and methods
* Image formation
* Noise modelling and  reduction
* Image and video coding
* Image filtering and enhancement
* Biomedical image processing
* Color and multispectral image processing
* Pattern recognition
* Image analysis and scene understanding
* Motion analysis, visual navigation and active vision
* Data visualization
* Biomedical image processing and graphics
* Computer-aided graphic design
* 3D imaging, shading and rendering
* Computer animation
* Graphics for Internet and mobile systems
* Virtual reality
* Image and video databases
* Digital watermarking
* Multimedia applications
* Computer art
* Industrial applications

The conference will be run at the Polish-Japanese Institute
of Information Technology, (http://www.pjwstk.edu.pl)
on September 22-24 in Warsaw, Poland.


The program will include:

*  invited papers, special sessions and keynote lectures,
*  selected contributions in oral and poster sessions,
*  young scientists session,
*  social events.


The reviewing process and strict acceptance criteria assure the high
quality of the accepted papers to be published by Kluwer in the
book series: COMPUTATIONAL IMAGING AND VISION.

Submissions:
------------

Manuscripts to be presented at the conference and published in the
Proceedings of the Conference must be submitted in the prescribed format.
The maximum length of the papers is 6 pages.
Additional pages cost 75.00 Euro per page with a maximum of 4 pages.

Authors are requested to follow the instructions on the ICCVG'04
website and to submit an electronic version (PDF) of a manuscript,
not exceeding 3 Mbytes.

Manuscript guidelines and templates  are available on the Kluwer website
http://www.wkap.nl/subjects/single_column_proceedings_vol .

All paper submissions should be uploaded by 5 June 2004.

After peer review and selection of the papers, the authors will be notified
of the decision of the Technical Program Committee via email by mid
July 2004. Upon acceptance by the reviewers and Program Committee, 
(selection
criteria include originality of ideas, accuracy and clarity of
presentation), authors will be asked to submit a final version of
the paper, not later than 31 July 2004.

Accepted papers will be published by Kluwer (http://www.wkap.nl/)
in the book series COMPUTATIONAL IMAGING AND VISION,
http://www.wkap.nl/prod/s/CIVI .

*  Final paper submission - 31 July 2004.

Conference fee
--------------

The conference fee is 200 Euro. This fee will include

* One hard copy version of the Conference Proceedings,
* Book of Abstracts,
* Refreshments,
* Welcome Cocktail,
* Gala Dinner,
* Excursion.

Each registration fee might include up to two (2) papers, which
presentation will be included in the conference program and
published by Kluwer in the COMPUTATIONAL IMAGING AND VISION book series.
